1. What it is
With "Invite friends" you can invite others to Note Way. Whoever takes Note Way Pro through your personal link or code gets a benefit, and you get a free month. The provider is André Bäcker, trading as Note Way, Hopstener Straße 25, 49479 Ibbenbüren, Germany; all details are in the imprint. Our terms also apply.
2. Who can take part
Every person with a Note Way account gets a personal link (noteway.ai/r/…) and a code. Only people who never had a Note Way plan can be invited. The code can be redeemed in the app under "Invite friends" or on the checkout page, before the first plan. Each account can redeem at most one code.
3. What the invited person gets
On a monthly plan the first month is free; after that the plan continues at the regular price until it is cancelled. On a yearly plan the price of the first year is reduced by one month (5 hours: €12, 10 hours: €18). The benefit applies only to plans bought through our payment provider Paddle on noteway.ai, not to purchases through Apple.
4. What you get
For each invited person who has really paid for their plan for the first time, you get a free month as soon as the 14-day withdrawal period of their plan has also ended.
- With a Paddle plan, your next billing date moves one month later.
- Without such a plan, we keep the month for you and redeem it when you take a Paddle plan: your next billing date then moves accordingly. A kept month expires if you don't redeem it within 12 months after it was credited.
- At most 12 free months within 12 months.
- No cash payout. Free months cannot be transferred.
5. When there is no free month
- The invited person withdraws, is refunded or charges back the payment before the free month was due.
- The invited person is really you: the same account, the same email address or the same payment method. To compare payment methods we store only a one-way check value, never the card details.
- The plan was bought through Apple.
- Abuse, such as made-up accounts or paid invitations. We may then take back free months and end your participation.
6. Data
We store who invited whom, when the plan started and was first paid, and whether a free month was given. Details are in the privacy policy, section 3.12. Deleting your account deletes this data too.
7. Changes and end
We may change or end "Invite friends" for the future. Free months already earned remain.
